CROP4CLIMA’s first review meeting: progress and future

CROP4CLIMA reached a significant milestone on 17 July with its first review meeting. This online meeting was attended by partners from Italy, Israel, Germany, Bulgaria, and beyond. The gathering was a crucial moment for the project, which continues the work of FutureAgriculture.

During the meeting, our partners showed their progress since the project started a year ago. Each member shared their main advancements in research, development, and outreach.

Several biotechnology and agribusiness experts also joined the review hosted by the project’s officer. They discussed each partner’s work and suggested valuable improvements. Their overall opinion is that the project is on the right track, praising the partners for their dedication and contributions.

An innovation expert also presented an Innovation Radar questionnaire and transition plan for the project, helping map out strategic paths for CROP4CLIMA’s future.

This review was a time for our consortium to reflect on CROP4CLIMA’s goals and how to reach them. Together, we are committed to developing sustainable and resilient crops for changing climate and food security challenges
